Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Making Strides has long been a community-led event to raise awareness, fundraise, and provide important information to help prevent and treat breast cancer. As part of the American Cancer Society's® mission to fund cancer research and create a supportive community of survivors and their families. Making Strides events are typically a three to five-mile walk through Dover communities that help bring people together and raise awareness. Together, we can help find cures and protect our loved ones from a life-threatening breast cancer diagnosis with early screenings, important information, and life-saving treatments.
Emmaus
Emaus is an organization that works to defeat homelessness by providing essential services to adults and children who need it and ongoing support to ensure self-sufficiency. Most of the families that stay in their shelters are mothers and children who have been victims of domestic violence or are adults with disabling conditions. Emaus believes that everyone matters and that we have a responsibility to help those in need with no other place to turn. Dover Chevrolet is a proud supporter of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Cares NH in their mission to recruit, train, and support volunteers who devote their time as advocates for children who have experienced neglect and abuse. CASA Volunteer advocates are crucial to New Hampshire children who need a voice in the court system and a safe, permanent home.
